Faux Layers

This card is yet another card inspired by Michelle Zindorf. I spent some time this weekend creating her techniques with Close To My Heart products.
This card is really only two layers! It looks like so many more layers went into this card, doesn't it?
Colors: Taffy, Sorbet, Juniper, Bamboo, Desert Sand, Chocolate
Stamps: You Are Beautiful, Felicity (swirl)
Accessories: White Gel Pen, Clear EP

Make It Count

I spent some time this weekend trying out new Zindorf techniques. I love taking Michelle's techniques and using Close To My Heart products to produce them!
Colors: Honey, Sunflower, Crystal Blue, Dutch Blue, Clover Meadow, Topiary, Black, White Daisy
Stamps: Make It Count, Four Seasons, Gear Up
I stamped the numbers in White Daisy and then used Dutch Blue and Sunflower markers to color some of the numbers in. It really makes it pop off the black!

I keep forgetting to post this! This is a luminary that we made at Stamp Camp in December as a bonus project.

The candle inside is an LED battery operated candle.

Ribbon flower and paper pleats

I saw two separate techniques that I really liked and decided to combine them on one card. I made the ribbon flower from directions I found here. It was a bit tricky, but worth the effort!

The paper pleating is very simple: start with a thin strip of patterned paper (2" x desired length) and score it at 3/4", 1", 1 3/4", 2", etc. along the entire length. Then fold the strip in following manner: under, back, over, back, under, back, over, back until the entire strip is pleated. Adhere just the top of the pleated strip to your project, using strong adhesive.

Colors: Twilight, Vineyard Berry, Cocoa
Papers: Emporium Paper Pack
Stamps: Damask Tiles
Accessories: Ribbon (Michaels), Button, Floss
