Birthday Card for My Father-in-Law

Sorry I haven't posted for so long! My life has been work, soccer and helping three kids with homework!

Anyway, I made this card for my father-in-law's birthday. See the texture in the background? I used one of the new Impressabilities from Spellbinders. Not sure I did it right - it was difficult to get an impression - but I finally got it to work and love it!

Colors: Indian Corn Blue, Cranberry, Olive, Outdoor Denim
Stamps: Take Flight, Everyday Celebrations, Happy Birthday
Accessories: Outdoor Denim spiral clip
Tools: Spellbinders Impressabilities

Peek-A-Boo

This is a Peek-a-Boo card. I saw this on another blog and just had to stamplift it!

The monkey stamp is not CTMH but I could not resist it!

Colors: Crystal Blue, Topiary, Chocolate
Stamps: Take Flight (leaves), Weathered Backgrounds (tree texture), Doodle Alphabet (bird and swirl background).

Express Postage Cards

The backround stripe on these cards was done by applying rubber cement to glossy cardstock in stripes, letting it dry and then using a brayer to cover the cardstock with the lightest color of dye ink.

Repeat the process by adding rubber cement lines in the brayered areas and proceeding with the process.

Colors: Bamboo, Desert Sand, Chocolate
Stamps: Express Postage, Take Flight
Accessories: Cocoa Grograin Ribbon, Cranberry Eyelet
