October Stamp Camp Projects

First, let me say I am appalled that it has been a month since I last posted! I have a teenager in my life that is just running me ragged!

Anyway, I am hoping to do three projects at Stamp Camp this month. Stamp Camp is Friday, October 15th at 7 pm.

The first card is in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. I cased this card from Michelle Zindorf - check our her blog here.

Colors: Blush, Hollyhock, White
Stamps: Thank You
Accessories: Ribbon, Gem

The second card features a set from the new catalog called A Sip. I lost the set after I made this card and have ordered a new one, so I am hoping it makes it to me by Friday!

Colors: Bamboo, Indian Corn Blue, Amethyst, Heavenly Blue
Papers: Magnifique paper pack
Stamps: A Sip, Simple Stitches

Last, but not least, is a cute little snowman card. I saw a similar one in the latest Papercrafts Special, Holiday Cards.

Colors: White, Black, Orange, Chocolate
Stamps: All Decked Out
Accessories: Plaid Ribbon

Card Box

This is a card box. I got the pattern for it from Paper Trey Ink.

I will be doing a class on how to make this box in September.

Colors: Twilight, Sweet Leaf
Papers: Emporium Paper Pack
Stamps: Connections, Today's Date, Dainty Thoughts, Thank You, For Every Occasion, Doodle Alphabet

I found a great product recently - a Sakura Quick Glue pen. I used it to add the glitter to the box front. I love this pen!

Hinge Card

This is a hinge card. Very simple to make.
Start with a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" base. Then cut two pieces of coordinating cardstock 3" x 4 1/4". Scallop the edge of the bottom cardstock piece, decorate as desired and then adhere this piece to the base. Be sure to leave at least 1/2" from the scalloped side down unadhered (is that a word?) so that the top hinged piece can slip inside it.

Lay the top piece of cardstock in place and then punch a 1/16" hole through all layers and attach with a brad.

Wrap a piece of ribbon around the bottom piece (under the scalloped edge) and tie a bow - keeping it to the far left side.

Now cut a piece of cardstock 2" x 2 3/8" for the focal image and layer this piece on two pieces of cardstock 2 1/4" x 2 5/8" and 2 1/2" x 2 7/8". Adhere the focal image to the card by placing pop dots above and below the ribbon. Be sure not to adhere it to the top hinged piece.

Colors: Petal, Pansy Purple, Colonial White and New England Ivy
Stamps: Boutique Borders, Botanical Borders, Butterfly Kisses, Picture Perfect (Corner Tab), Tender Tags (flourish) and Thank You
Accessories: Colonial White Organdy Ribbon, Garden Green Brad, Colonial White Safety Pin, Paper flowers and a rhinestone.

Stamp Camp Projects

I finally had some time to make up stamp camp projects!
Stamp Camp is Friday, May 15th at 7 pm.

The first one was inspired by a fellow consultant and is made with the stamp of the month, Be Yourself (woman, one of a kind) and stamps from the National Scrapbooking Month kit. The kit is still available as of now, but it's down to about 35% availability, so don't delay in ordering it if you really want the kit!

Colors: Hollyhock, Black, Blush
Papers: Bella paper pack, Black cardstock
Stamps: Be Yourself, I Am
Accessories: Hollyhock ricrac

The second card is made with a new stamp set, Extreme Happiness.

Colors: Indian Corn Blue, Cranberry, Bamboo
Papers: Moon Doggie paper pack
Stamps: Extreme Happiness, Thank You
