Another Christmas Card

I've been burning the midnight oil lately! I've been painting the walls in the basement by day (12 gallons and counting!) and creating in my craft room at night!

I hope you all have a very merry Christmas full of love and time spent with family and friends!

Colors: Desert Sand, Cranberry, Clover Meadow, New England Ivy
Stamps: December Word Puzzle, Christmas Scripts, Beautiful Things (pine cones and needles)
Accessories: Ribbon - Michael's; Embossing folder - ProvoCraft
I had to cancel Stamp Camp at the last minute because we are finishing our basement and the dry wall guys didn't finish sanding until the day before.

As a special thank you, I made these little stockings for customers who placed an order this month. It has some goodies inside, but they haven't received them yet, so I won't show what it is!

Colors: Cranberry, New England Ivy
Papers: Evensong Paper pack
Accessories: New England Ivy Bigger Brad, red satin ribbon, Snowflake punches

Merry Christmas!

I made this card for my husband. Actually I was making it and he said that is the best card I've seen in a while! That's when I decided it would be his!

Colors: Cranberry, Topiary, Citrus Leaf
Stamps: Merry Pursuits, Christmas Scripts, Beautiful Things
Accessories: Ribbon, Rhinestones - Michael's; Snowflake Punch - Martha Stewart; Embossing Folders - ProvoCraft

It's been a long time!

I'm so sorry for my long absence from posting! I just got my desk unburried a couple of days ago and will hopefully have time to create more very soon!
I did manage to make some teacher's gifts this week:

I used Close To My Heart papers and inks in Cranberry and Star Spangled Blue.
Other: Mat Stacks Summer collection, Just Rite Stampers - Baking Stamp Ensemble, Nestabilities scalloped circle, Coluzzle circle template.
I put home made hot chocolate in the cellophane bags and hand dipped marshallows.
Here are the recipes:
Hot Chocolate
1 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa powder
3 Cups dry powdered milk
1 1/4 Cup sugar
Dash of salt
Mix ingredients together and spoon into bags (be sure the bag is inserted into the mug before filling).
Peppermint Marshmallows:
1 tsp Water
3-4 tsp Confectioner's sugar
Candy Canes - crushed into small pieces
Make a glaze with the water and sugar. Dip half the marshmallow in the glaze and then roll in the crushed candy canes. Place on wax paper to set.
These taste great in the hot chocolate!
Enjoy!
