Bandana Technique Card

This technique was in the lastest issue of the Technique Junkie newsletter. I've had this stamp set for quite a while and have a hard time coming up with a way to use it, so when I saw the newsletter, I knew I had to try it!
Colors: Star Spangled Blue, Orange, Citrus Leaf
Stamps: Alfresco, Friendship Word Puzzle
Tools: White Gel Pen
To make this card:
Start with white cardstock (not glossy) and using a cosmetic sponge and starting with the darkest color of dye ink, swirl color on 1/3 of the cardstock. Repeat with remaining two colors, but when you apply the lightest color, swirl over the entire piece to blend colors.
Stamp your images in black ink and highlight with a white gel pen.
Very easy to do!

Thinking of you

Good evening!

I spent a little time on this one! The fold on this card is called a Blintz fold in the origami world. I used liquid glass on the dragonfly and sprinkled Prisma Glitter on the wings. I also stamped a little circle for the faux brads and then used liquid glass on those as well. They faded the purple ink quite a bit, but the end result is very nice.

Colors: Sweet Leaf, Petal, Blush
Papers: Paper Garden paper pack
Stamps: Butterfly Kisses
Accessories: Prisma Glitter, Liquid Glass

Baby book album pages

I'm in the process of making album pages for my nephew. This is what I have so far...

I never get to do boy pages, as I have 3 girls, so this is kind of fun for me.

Colors: Buttercup, Moonstruck, Crystal Blue, Ocean, White Daisy
Stamps: Flyin' High, Doodle Alpha, Rustic Alpha, Vintage USA, Today's Date (August Stamp of the Month), Scribbles Alpha (Autumn Leaves)
Accessories: Heavenly Blue Sassy Strands, Pewter Photo Clip, 3/8" Natural Twill Ribbon from the White Daisy Ribbon Rounds Collection

I used the Imagine book for the layouts: Page 1 is shown on page 64,Up The Tempo, left side and pages 2-3 are show on pages 22-23, Proof Preview. I changed the left hand page by making the Ocean piece wider and tearing and sewing it with Sassy Strands.
